We try to redesign the most popular streaming platform on the web and make it our own. The top hero section should feature the best of trending movies to capture the visitor's attention and keep the site up-to-date. We included a live chat feature which functions like a YouTube live streaming but with random movies. It's like watching movies on tv but with other people on the web. So exciting!
The top section is the top movies section to dispay the freshest and hottest movie to date. Containing the title of the movie and a short excerpt to attract the visitors to watch. The movie duration is also displayed below plus a 'Watch Now' CTA button.
The section after it is the continue watching section. It shows few last watched movies by the visitors and the time remaining. This is the best practice of almost all streaming site to encourage visitors to revisit and finish the movie.
Next, we have the featured movies section where we display the highest rating movies worth watching. And this section is designed like a card with the genres, title, and excerpt. Complete with the name of the casts in IMDB style, so it catches the attention of the visitors. The movie IMDB rating is also displayed at the corner plus the red 'Watch Now' CTA button.
The fourth section is the movies you don't want to miss section that acts like a movie catalog. We put a sort button on the top right corner for easy navigation. By default it will display 5 columns on desktop and 2 in mobile. This is where visitors can browse movies they want to watch.
Last section of this design is the 'Watch Live Streaming' section where visitors can watch a movie together with other visitors and interact in the comment section. Just like watching a YouTube live. And the website will show movies 24/7 just like a tv channel.
