Here is our imagination of how a drinks website can be. The website features whiskeys and wines for sale but also articles around the world of spirits and champagnes. The inspiration came from the simplicity and also the boldness of an excellent bottle of alcohol. Brown tone with a touch of red. So welcoming and so easy to navigate. We are aiming to get the friendly feeling when going inside a liquor store.
Straightforward top section features a slider for the most important news and promotions. The slider is split with the text on the left side and the image on the right. This promotes a clean and tidy look, making it easier for the content manager to fill in content.
The second section is the main item navigation section featuring the four most important categories which is New Arrivals, Wines, Whiskeys and Spirits. This enabels the user to quickly view the latest drinks accoring to the categories. The columns are responsive too. In the desktop view, 4 columns are shown, for the tablet, 3 columns, and for the mobile only 2 columns are shown.
Third and fourth sections are the articles to support SEO and web credibility. The third is the featured story section where we show the title and snippet of the featured article. The background image also plays an important factor in bringin the feel of the article. Below that is the 'From The Press' section, displaying the most recent and most important articles to hook your customers into reading the rest of the articles.
The last section is the collections section. Showing 3 columns of the most exciting liquor collections. This helps boost the site's content and product mix. Beginner and aspiring drinkers are excited to know that their favorite drink belongs to a collection. They will try to learn more and at the same time buy more to complete their own collection at home.
